1. About TIPSTARS

TIPSTARS is a competitive sports tipping and media platform. Users can participate in competitions by submitting sports tips which are recorded using hypothetical stakes for the purpose of comparing tipster performance.

TIPSTARS does not accept bets, operate betting accounts, hold customer funds or provide gambling services.

2. Eligibility

TIPSTARS is intended for users aged 18 or over. By creating an account or participating in a TIPSTARS competition, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

You must provide accurate information when registering and must not create an account on behalf of another person.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account.

TIPSTARS may suspend or deactivate an account where we believe there has been misuse, fraudulent activity, manipulation of competition results or a breach of these terms.

4. Competitions

TIPSTARS competitions compare the performance of participating tipsters using hypothetical £100 stakes.

Rankings are determined by accumulated profit and loss (P&L) during the applicable competition period.

Competition rules, dates and other conditions may be published on the relevant competition page and may apply in addition to these terms.

5. Tips and submissions

Tipsters are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are accurate at the time they are made.

Tips are recorded with the selection, market, bookmaker, submitted odds and relevant terms applicable at the time of submission.

Once submitted, a tip is normally locked and cannot be changed by the participating tipster.

TIPSTARS may correct an obvious administrative or recording error where necessary. Such corrections may be recorded for audit purposes.

6. Results and settlement

Competition tips are settled using the result recorded by TIPSTARS. Results may include wins, losses, placed results and voids.

Non-runners, abandoned selections and postponed selections may be treated as void in accordance with the applicable competition rules.

Where applicable, dead-heat calculations may be used when determining hypothetical payouts.

7. No guarantee of betting performance

Historical results, rankings, profits, statistics or tipster performance shown on TIPSTARS are not guarantees of future performance.

TIPSTARS does not guarantee that any tip will be successful or profitable if followed with real money.

8. Betting operators and affiliate links

TIPSTARS may provide information about or links to third-party betting operators.

Some links may be affiliate links, meaning TIPSTARS may receive compensation if a user interacts with an operator through the link.

Any relationship with a third-party betting operator does not make TIPSTARS responsible for that operator's services, terms, account management or betting activity.

9. User content

Where users provide usernames, biographies, reasoning or other content for publication on TIPSTARS, they agree that TIPSTARS may display that content as part of the platform.

Users must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, misleading or infringes another person's rights.

10. Intellectual property

The TIPSTARS name, branding, website design and platform materials are owned by or licensed to TIPSTARS unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, modify or commercially exploit TIPSTARS content without permission.

11. Availability

We aim to keep TIPSTARS available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that the website or any particular feature will always be available or error-free.
