TIPSTARS is a sports tipping competition and performance-tracking platform. Tipsters submit selections before events take place, their selections are recorded publicly, and competition performance is measured using defined hypothetical stakes.
What makes TIPSTARS different?
TIPSTARS is built around a recorded track record rather than a claim about future results. Visitors can see a tipster's selections, results, ROI, P&L and competition history in one place.
A selection can be inspected after submission and followed through to its eventual result. This creates a consistent record that can be compared across competitions.
How a TIPSTARS competition works

Submit
Choose a sport, event, market, selection, odds and bookmaker and submit before the applicable cut-off.

Lock
Once submitted, the selection is recorded so the original tip and price can be reviewed later.

Settle
When the event is complete, the recorded result is used to calculate the hypothetical P&L.

Compare
Settled performance contributes to ROI and P&L, which are used to compare competitors in the relevant competition.
How performance is measured
TIPSTARS uses defined hypothetical staking levels. ROI is calculated from realised P&L divided by total settled stake. Pending and void selections do not contribute to realised performance.

TIPSTARS does not take bets
TIPSTARS does not accept wagers, hold customer funds or operate bookmaker accounts. Competition stakes are hypothetical and exist to provide a consistent way to compare tipster performance.
TIPSTARS content is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Any decision to place a real-money bet with a third-party operator is separate from participation in a TIPSTARS competition.
